Mata Giri

Namaste my chelas Namaste my Mata Giri,

I better answer my boss Mata Giri right away, God only knows what she can put on this internet thingy

Feeding every one did not mean only food. It meant that one who came to his Ashram in India or anyplace where his Chelas were, should be fed either with food or spirituality or both. Baba has allways taught me that when one was hungry then he could not look for God only food. After a while even while hungry even the beginner would put God before food and only eat what it takes to be full or almost full if he or she were fed Spiritualy The deeper meaning is the sharing. That is one of the first things he taught me. GOD IS IN THE SHARING. I love you my Mata Giri, I love you my Chelas. I guess this is the sharing. Jai Shree BABA Ki Jai.

Dear Ma, Baba said “feed everyone.” He didn’t say “Feed everyone you can afford to feed,” or “feed everyone you have time for,” or anything like that, just “feed everyone.” This has always struck me as a very radical statement, way far beyond what most people would even consider when they think about a life of service. So, first, is there a deeper meaning to this? And second, how can we use this idea to help us? Love, Mata Giri
