When things are going well it seems easier to view thoughts as “just” being thoughts.  When things are not going so well, thoughts don’t seem like “just” thoughts, they seem like reinforced concrete.  How do you turn thoughts back from being reinforced concrete into just thoughts. (you didn’t know I was butch enough to know about reinforced concrete, did you?)

You have to tease the thoughts. My Swami taught me the simplest of ways. Just count backwards when you sit- from 1ooo to 1. Every time you lose you place start all over again. I promise it will work.
