Om Ganesha, Morning Puja and Prayer. March 3, 1999 Namaste my Chelas, I did Puja this Morning to the goddess Chinnamasta who holds in her left hand her own severed head. There are three streams of Blood coming from her beautiful neck. She is said that she has cut her head to give her blood to her devotees.

It is said, that once Parvati was playing and bathing in the River, with her closest woman, Jaya and Vijaya. They were playing for hours and hours and began to really get quite hungry. They began begging and begging for food. They told Parvati she was the Mother of the Universe. They said she was the giver of all boons. She smiled and severed her head with her finger nails. The blood came flowing out in three streams. The middle one she drank as she held her own head and the other streams the two other woman drank their full from. I now too beg my Mother Chinnamasta to feed my children her grace and let them feel God and Goddesses at all times. She has cut her own head to nourish her devotees. In Tantric Buddhism, She is Vajra Yogini, Yet what ever name you call her she will come to you and nourish you through her own blood. This means that she takes your prayers how ever big or small to her heart. She is the truly the only Mother Goddess who severs her head so her children do not go hungry. My Pujas went on a long time this morning as I too became her handmaiden. The health of my Ganga Das was foremost on my mind. The continuation of his life and the life of all of you at the feet of the Mother is indeed the meaning of true Tantra. Feel the Mother giving you all nourishment all this day. I love you all so very much. Drink your full this day and do not forget the Mothers. Love Ma Jai Kali Ma Ki Jai. Jai Chinnamasta Ma Ki Jai
