Om Ganesha March 4, 1999 Morning Puja and Prayer
Namaste my chelas, I look toward my Mother Kali this day, and I ask She who resides here at Kashi, to teach my chelas mastery of their senses. In doing this their happiness will have no boundaries. Mastery over the senses does not mean that they have to be constantly withdrawn. You must always use the God gift that you do not even realize you have and that is Divine Reason. The senses must always be under the control of this Divine presence. If you are undisciplined, your senses become your worst enemy. When you become disciplined, the joy that awaits you is endless. Therefore Ma gives you the discipline of the Flowing River Breath to start the practice of mastering your senses. The bliss of the self is like the universe in her vastness. The Bliss of the senses is impermanent and will die and decay and do the same to your body and mind.. The bliss of God lives forever and ever in this timeless place of Kashi.
I look over my Ganga this early morn and my heart fills with the fullness of Kashi. Shiva and Kali reign over Kashi. I wonder, (and this I ask my Baba often,) if you take lightly when I say, Kali lives here you know. I hope you do not, I hope you begin to understand my words very clearly when I say to all of you whom I love more than life itself. KALI LIVES HERE, YOU KNOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Love Ma Jai Kali Ma Ki Jai.
