Did you know that Jaya which means victory is also another name for the Mother Laxsmi. The Mahavidyas are the strength of all woman banding together and alone. Yes Kamala is another aspect of the Mother Laxsmi.. I just spent a long time writing all my answers and poof it all went away. so if you all get two answers you will be twice as smart.
The Mahavidyas are The Mother Kali, the Mother Tara, the Mother Sodasi, the Mother Bhuvanesvari, the Mother Chinnamasta, The Mother Bhairavi, The Mother Dhumavati, The Mother Bagalamukhi,The Mother Matangi and the Mother Kamala. They are the strength of Kashi. Their essence fills me and keeps my being wide open to receive them. I love you Love Ma
Namaste my Bhavatarini and my Laxsman, Under the bridges and on the streets, I love that name and I thank you all in L.A. for taking care of my people. There is one thing though and I had said it before, please do not call it the feeding. These are grown people who have had problems. They can use our food to feed themselves. It reminds me when I was a little girl the social workers would come around in the winter and offer the cellar kids a feeding. My Mama said no one has to feed my kids, and we were hungry! They tried to steal our dignity, Give the food and dignity at all times. Do not forget that could have been your Ma under the bridge and on the streets if it wasn’t for those four folks who gave me life under the board walk.

Namaste Ma, My question is brought on by Durga Mayees email about Kamala. Is she really Laxmi? Is she a secret or hidden aspect of the Goddess Laxmi? It must be really wonderful to worship Laxmi/Kamala, the Goddess of prosperity who also is a fierce slayer of demons.
It seems as though there is a huge gap between Laxmi and Kali. The one representing material wealth and comfort and the other representing couragious pursuit of the truth! It seems that in a tantric way the Mahavidyas have bridged this gap. They represent the ultimate unity and oneness. I this tantra?
