Om Ganesha Morning Prayers and Pujas March 6, 1999 Saturday morning.
Namaste my Chelas, This morning Pujas, I asked the Great Mother to give my chelas the power of understanding each other and to understand those who are not in our Satsanga.
In the Ramayana there are two Monkey Brothers, Sugriva and Bali. They were monkey kings.
A demon challenged Bali in a dark dank cave in the high mountains.
Bali told his brother to wait forty days at the opening of the cave and if he did not come out in forty days to know he was dead and to leave. Sugriva waited for more then the forty days and then he saw a pool of blood streaming out of the dark passage. He put a boulder in front of the passage to block out the demon an then he left. He thought that his brother was dead and this made him very sad indeed. Sugriva returned to his kingdom and he ruled over his and his brothers people.
Bali did not die at all, in fact he won the battle and then had to spend a very long time in the cave until some one found him and set him free.
When he found that his brother had taken over his kingdom, he misunderstood completely . Sugriva also misunderstood the way of things and because of misunderstanding they became mortal enemies. Hating each other became a way of life for them. All from a misunderstanding. My prayer this day is that you practice reflection before you act, Call on the Mother to help you in our decisions. Practice understanding and your world will be a better place to live for yourself and for others also. I love you all so very much. Love Ma Jai Kali Ma Ki Jai
