I have seen so many die in terrible pain because they could not get the care or the drugs or be taught the awarness in the precious time before death. It is one of the reasons that I opened up my River House. My first reason at the time is that no one person should ever die alone. Yet there are many in very poor facilities who are dying this second in terrible pain. This is unacceptable yet it is still happening. I love you my brave daughter. She has also been off her feet and in bad shape and in need of surgery. It is up to her to tell you all of a disease that has been in their life for many years. What I need to say is that her husband has come to Darshan on his last leg at times and that I adore them all. None of us thought that Bruce Shiva would still be on this earth, well I should not say none Of us. I saw and still see lots of life. I love you my daughter and always will. My Sat Sansar, is a very wonderful woman who I love and apparently where she works has great policies concerning the dying but as you know it rare to have this. I have seen to much suffering to judge anyone. You put it very well. The following are excerpts from Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada’s Krsna Book.
Krsna was very expert in playing His flute, and the gopis, the young wives of the cowherd men, were captivated by the sound of His flute. Immediately upon hearing the vibration of the flute, they all left their respective engagements and proceeded to the spot where Krsna was standing. They left their cows in the midst of milking, left the pans cooking on the stove, left their small babies whom they were breastfeeding, left the service of their families and rushed to see Krsna. The could not finish their cosmetic decorations nor put on their dresses in the right way because of their anxiety to meet Krsna immediately. Their faces were decorated hurriedly; some even put the lower part of their dresses on the upper part of their bodies and the upper part on the lower part. All their guardians forbade them to go to Krsna but they disregarded them. When a person becomes attracted to Krsna, he does not care for any wordly duties, even though very urgent.
