Om Ganesha Morning Pujas and Prayers March 16, 1999
Namaste my chelas, I am writing this in the big Baba Bus on the way to Miami. I do not know when you will get this, our Swami will look for a Kinko as soon as possible. These morning Pujas and Prayers flow along with you on your Spiritual Path along with the River Paintings.
Many years ago, before our Baba came to me, Swami talked to me about the Guru Gita. The Guru is Brahma Himself, He would say. He is a ocean of bliss, knowledge and mercy. He is the captain of your soul. He is the fountain of joy, He removes all your troubles and obstacles. He shows you the Right Divine Path. He tears apart your veil of ignorance. He makes you immortal and Divine. He transmutes your diabolical nature. He gives you the Rope of knowledge and takes you when you are drowning in this ocean of samsara. Do not consider the Guru to be only human. You must worship the Guru and bow to him with great reverence. I remember these words so clearly 27 years later, sitting at the feet of my Baba, very happy to be the puppet and he holding the strings. I heard him say to Swami, She too is Guru, She is Guru, she must be Guru, She must take Her place as Guru. I thought I would die of shock right then and there. Oh no! I said no way, they just smiled. Yes even Swami smiled. My Baba on the other hand did not force me or order me. So I began to teach my children that their different teachers were their Gurus.( They never believed it right from the start.) Our Naga Baba would just laugh and laugh and said how long Ma, how long do we have to wait.
Now it is my turn ask all of you, you are all teachers, How long do I have to wait for you to give up what you do not need.
My Puja and Prayer this day is that you know who your are quickly and let us get on with our lives in the great freedom of Guru’s love. It is certainly time for most of you, not all of you of course, to teach. All those who live at Kashi and my close chelas who are in Chicago, New York, and LA. You know who you are.Just surrender to your own beauty. I have been preparing you for life times.
