Om Ganesha March 18, 1999 Morning Pujas and Prayers,
Namaste my chelas. My Pujas and Prayers for all of you this beautiful morning, is that you begin to understand the nature of the self. Love is the true nature of the Divine self. By sitting at the feet of the Guru you begin to get a feeling of who you are. You become a bhakti. Bhakti comes from the Sanskrit root Bhaj, which means to serve or be attached to God. The attachment to God eliminates all other attachments. This is because all else pales in conparision to God. Two objects can not be in the same place fully at the same time. One takes more room or one pushes the other out. When God is in one place in a persons mind and heart there is no room for anything else. There is nothing to pull you away and therefore that persons life is lived to the fullest. When one is in love with God all becomes dear, therefore there is no pain or at least one becomes detached from the pain that comes toward them. Being Love is the very nature of that which we are, then that which we are is God Herself. When one of my chelas attain the greatest love, Divine Love, she begins to desire nothing else. She does not hate or want to be physically in love with anyone. This is a much smaller love than the Divine love that is deep within us.
This Devotion of chela to Guru is not at all perishable. This is the love that never changes. When my Swami was teaching me many years ago, the one thing He stressed over and over was the beauty of Divine love. My Chelas, you all have heard me say constantly, that I want so much for you that I can taste it. This means that in my being is a place that waits for you to share with me this Divine Love. It is complete freedom and I taste it for all of us and the way others will learn from the love in your hearts reflecting in your eyes. I love you my Chelas. I wait by my River, my Chelas. I will always wait by my River, my chelas. I wait at the feet of my Baba and my Mother Kali. Love Ma, Jai Ganesha, Jai Laxsmi Ma Jai Kali Ma Jai Kashi, Ki Jai
