Om Ganesha Namaste my Madhava Ma. Ok, now here is the story everyone. Many years ago about 1980 in Miami, my Madava and I would stay up all night in the jungle kuti as I painted and taught him all about the Mother Kali and the Lord Hanuman and Lord Shiva, Sometimes I would send him away to rest, ( not very often). When he would knock on the door in a little while, I would say who is It? He would answer It is Madhava, and then he would say Ma. Well My Baba loved it so much that he made me name him Madhava Ma and he never for one second hesitated using it no matter where we were. Now my son, I have just answered your question without your even knowing it.

You had no thought just now in using Madhava Ma as your signature. There for, the great awareness in you came into play. I love you and am very proud of you and I too miss those days. Love Ma Jai Kali Ma Ki Jai.

Namaste Ma,

I am wondering about thought and awareness. Can there be awareness

without thought? Can a person be aware of his surroundings and yet have

no thought? I sometimes feel awareness and thought both happening at once, one growing stronger, and then the other, but somehow they seem separate. Is consciousness the same as awareness? Does the soul communicate through consciousness or awareness separate from the mind and thought?

                            I love you, Ma
