It is good to work your muscles in order to hold the Shakti each night from the Mother Kali. Even if you are not in good shape, you can start now be just taking a ten minute walk. Even if you are in bed, you can begin by doing breathing exercises. I won’t be able to walk distances for a little while longer, so I make sure to do what I am able to do, how ever small it may be.

The more you do to hold the Shakti, the more your body improves. If you can manage to keep your back straight, then you will allow her to rise from the base of the spine to the top of your heads.
