Om Ganesha Namaste my Chandra Das. The light or pillar of light is the very essence of Shiva. All existence extends from it. What we are as Shavites is a big part of that light. One does not become a worshiper of Shiva, one is born as such. If there is the slightest light in your life then that light is Shiva. Mother Kali is the movement in that pillar of light. If you close your eyes and stare into the third eye asking Shiva to show you his light, then if you are quiet and still, he will. The rest of your questions I will answer at another time. I love you. Love Ma Jai Kali Ma Ki Jai

Dear Ma,

Namaste'.

Ever since you wrote about it about a month ago, the image of stanhu, the pillar of light, captivated and thrilled me.

I am curious: what is Stanhu and where does it fit in to what we have learned?

Is Stanhu the first form? the essence of Shiva? Or, is it prior to Shiva? What is it truly? What does it do?

What is the light which is seen in the pillar? What is shakti in relation to stanhu?

Is there a Shakti counterpart to Stanhu? What is it?

If Stanhu is Shiva in essence, what does it mean, then, to say that shakti consumes shiva after he her?

What does it mean to have seen it?

Love, Chandra Das
