Om Ganesha, Namaste my Sadhu Hanuman, Welcome to the Darshan Line, It is about time we heard from my Sadhu. The Who am I meditation is the best form of killing the mind, if one can do it with a quiet earnest. You have to have, at first a great desire to truly know who you are. This takes some effort and truth. You must really want to know who you are. Then when you begin to follow your breath for a short time, you say over and over Who Am I over and over.
No it is not a coincidence. It is just the time. All of you have been at the Mothers feet many life times and it is time this life time to understand who I am. When you can understand who you are, ever so slightly, then surely you will have a deeper understanding who the Guru is and the Guru of the Guru is, to you and all your brothers and sisters.
The answer to the next question is that we simply learn what we learn and receive the tools this life in which to get it right. If you do not get it all right and fall into slavery to the ego. Then your master is the ego. The shackles need to be taken off with the gentle hands of detachment. If you try to hard to fight against that which ties you, the rope will only get tighter.
Relax. be kind to others, be kind to you, be respectful of the Guru. Get to have enough love in your heart to even ask the question of who you are. I love you so much my son. Ever since you were a little boy. Love Ma Jai Hanumanji. Ki Jai

Namaste MA,
1> Recently, You have brought up Ramana Maharishi and the “Who Am I?” meditation a couple times on Your own; may I ask why (Is this something more than coincidence; if so, what)? I am in the process of “trying” this meditation, if one can put it that way.
2> You said in darshan that (I attempt to paraphrase; please correct me if I’ve got this all wrong): the more you try to kill the ego, the longer it lives. Could You please elaborate on this? Certainly, the ego fights fiercely and treacherously. (If the ego is never slain in one lifetime, does it merely re-emerge in the next with only cosmetic adjustments and variations, effectively surviving or attaching itself to the Soul like a virus?)
Thank You very much.
Love,
Sadhu Hanuman
