Om Ganesha Namaste my Gary, Once there was a great God named Shiva ( Still is) he would go off to wars fighting against the demons. ( he loved to war against evil) He would leave his beautiful wife at home alone( tell us about it!) She wanted a child, this wonderful Parvati and created one out of mud and clay. He was beautiful and wise. He would protect his Mother at all times especially when she bathed. One day as he was protecting his Mom, her consort came home and demanded to see his wife. The boy would not let him and Shiva got so mad he cut off the child’s head. When Parvati came out of her bath, she got really crazy for what Shiva did. She carried on something terrible. Shiva then said out of fear of losing his precious wife, I will cut off the head of the first one to pass and save our son. A wise elephant passed and offered his head to the great God.Shiva cut off his head and put it on his son. At that point the son awoke and was named Ganesh or Ganesha. He who moves obstacles. All the Gods loved him and so we all pray to him first and the other Gods and Goddesses hear and will come. He also, along with Laxsmi is the God of prosperity. But mostly he is the remover of obstacles.

Ok Now you got it and the rest I will tell in Darshan. I love you. Namaste, love Ma. Om Ganesha Om Kali Ma Ki Jai.

Thank you Ma for kind words and welcome.

Ok, here’s the first refresher course question: what is “Om Ganesha?”

Darshan last night was very moving and powerful . I will be at Saturday’s Intensive and then a Kali Painting.

Namaste to my guru! ( I can really say that, “my guru”).

Love, Gary
