Om Ganesha. Morning Pujas and Prayers. July 7, 1999
Namaste my chelas. I look out over my Ganga and weep from the beauty of it all. What a stunning Ashram. Never has there ever been a place so sacred in the world as this Blessed
Kashi.
I sit here writing the morning pujas and prayers. I am wondering how many of my chelas know that these pujas and prayers are said with great devotion, with bells ringing, incense lit and Ma in bliss, bowing before the Gods?
Once my Swami Bhagavati Das asked me what I loved to do the best, I simply said, “Doing pujas,” without thinking or skipping a beat. I said, “Puja.”
I have been praying all of my life. It is always fresh and wonderful. In times of sorrow or joy, it is always wonderful. I want this freshness for my chelas.
I want you to all feel what it truly is to pray to a God that you know is listening to your every word. Pray from your heart and feel the Bliss flood through your being. These are my prayers and these are my Pujas
I love you.
Love, Ma. Jai Kali Ma Ki Jai.
