Om Ganesha. Morning Pujas and Prayers August 24, 1999

Namaste my chelas,

I ask Mother Chinnamasta to take all hatred from my chelas’ hearts. Hatred takes on many forms, all of which can lead you from your spiritual path.

When you continue to hate any person or people, your mind is filled with a blackness of impurity. Your whole being will become dark and dull.

Many times hatred has no rational basis. I ask Mother Chinnamasta to cleanse my children’s souls and minds of all hatreds and let them feel the peace of love.

Your relationship with your Guruji is dependent upon your soul, all other relationships depend on your body and circumstances.

If there is hate in your heart then there can be very little relationship with the heart of the Guru.

Hate and anger keeps your from feeling the love of your Guru. When your heart is full, your Guru becomes every thing to you. The flowers, the trees, the clouds, the oceans, the moment all become Guru.

When there is hate and anger in the heart then there can be no room for the Guru’s love.

Deep within your unconscious mind is the grooves set by your thoughts and actions from way back, in fact these grooves begin when you began. They are called Samskaras. When you alter the nature of your thoughts and actions, you change your life and your destiny.

When you continue to think angry thoughts and thoughts of revenge, you go deeper and deeper into these samskaras. Did you ever hear yourself talk and not want to say the words you were saying, yet you can not stop yourself. This happens when you put your self deeper into the grooves of samskaras . You may ask the Mother, if there are good samskaras. Yes of course there are, and these are the base of your goodness and your spirituality. If you keep your mind on the Guru and spirituality, your thoughts will find new grooves and the old samskaras will fill up with divine love.

You can start by saying your secret Mantra which the Guru has given you, or one that is universal, like Om Namah Shivaya or Om Namah Kali or the Name of your Guru over and over until the valley of anger and hate are filled with the waters of joy and love.

Change does not come quickly, it grows slowly and deeply. Instead of having hateful thoughts, just keep saying the name of your Guru.

Once in India, I told Siddhi Ma ( the holy woman who took care of our Baba) that I say over and over Baba Baba Baba Baba Baba. She smiled and said, there is no greater word in the dictionary. Smiling even more, she said, times our Baba could be seen and heard saying over and over as He looked up, Ma Ma Ma Ma Ma Ma Ma. This was translated to Ma by a beautiful young man our Baba had raised, Benoid.

Even the holy ones love to say the name of God the Father and God the Mother.

When the Guru and holy ones say the name of God or Guru over and over, it is for the sweet taste of it all in ones mouth and heart.

When the chela says these names over and over, the mind will not be distracted by worldly thoughts and attachments.

When the chela gets a little control of her thoughts, there is unlimited possibilities open to her.

I have seen even so called holy people hate in the name of God and this is not what God intended.

All hate and anger must die in the flood of love that comes when one says the name of the Guru.

Be in control of your senses and feel the love of the Mother begin to fill up the valley of samskaras that you carried around like a heavy burden for so long. Blend together the heart the mind the soul and the movements of hands or right actions.

It is the roots of a tree that gives substance to the delicious taste of the fruit.

Let the roots be watered by service and love. Hate will die with out being nurtured and samskaras of anger and pain will certainly disappear.

Begin this very second saying the name of your Guru or Parama Guru and feel the flood of love and truth come into you.

These are my pujas and these are my prayers to the wonderful Mother Chinnamasta.

I love you.

Love, Ma
