Om Ganesha, Morning Prayers and Pujas from our Sacred and Blessed Kashi Ashram. Sept. 8, 1999

Namaste my chelas. The Mother is home and the Puja Bells are ringing. Shiva in all His Glory is in the Ganga. The Ashram grounds are beautiful and the Murties are dancing in their temples.

I did the pujas underneath Kashi stars all night, and was so happy to be home.

When you really get meditation under the skin there is no way that you can not meditate. At this moment visualize the Lord Hanuman leading you to the place of the heart.

Once you do the Mother’s breath and get it right it will almost feel like the breath of Hanuman’s Father Lord Vayu.

I will answer all questions about the Mother Breath. The Guru Chakra is the third eye. Here is where the Guru guides you to the Brahmarandra. You rest in the Soma Chakra, separate yet together with the Guru. The Soma Chakra is really part of the seventh Chakra. Yet it is down further right over the third eye The very essence of the Moons own nectar can be felt in this chakra. When you feel the breath of the Mother in the Guru Chakra you can also feel the Mother’s breath caressing this Chakra of Amrith, then right under the thousand petals of the lotus on top of the head, you can feel the breath becoming stronger and more intense as the merge of Shiva Shakti begins.

You can feel the breath going higher and higher over the head and this is OK.

You begin to feel awash in the breath of the Mother. After you feel the blended breath of the Mother and the Father you lift your right hand and blow gently into the cupped hand and place it over your heart for a few minutes and then feel the wonderment of it all.

At this time you can either start all over or ask Hanumanji to take you to your heart or what ever form of God, Love, Mother, Guru, you are close to.

If you want to start again, you may. Yet it is better to get to know the breath before you do it over and over. It is also better to do it only once in a day and want to do it than doing it many times and you lose the joy of it all. It is a very sacred and blessed breath.

I have already blew gently in the hand of some of my chelas. Last night at our first Darshan, our Madava Ma Nityananda, ( yes he got the last part of His name as I was visiting the Nityananda Temple He is building across the Ganga from the Mother) he was initiated in the Shakti Sanchara of the Mother Kali’s Breath. Your whole body at that time will feel the gentle caress of the Mother’s breath running through you.

I hope this has been helpful to all of you who have written in. The reason that one of the chakras should receive a odd number is what Swami Muktananda said about keeping important things odd numbered especially when giving Dakshina, so that there is always more to come to the receiver and to the giver. The only numbers that should be even is 1008 or 108.

If you always end your meditations in your heart you will be able to practice this sacred breath in a way that will open all your chakras tantricly.

When you are in the Guru Chakra that is where you will feel the breath the most.

As you all come home to Kashi to visit, I will be initiating you in the breath if there is the time and the space. Eventually all my chelas will have that intimate space with the Mother. Meanwhile just practice this safe and wonderful breath ending in your heart.

The Great Mother of Compassion and Love will be with you at all times. As you read these words ask once again the Monkey God to take you to the heart of hearts and then when you finish reading start the breath at the base of the spine. It is a lesson in awareness and through the Mother awareness will be yours. Mentally visit all your chakras and begin to use your mind as you stay in your heart. At times when you reach the 7th chakra there may be visions or a great amount of Shakti. Just bow in your heart and go on. I will be with you. May the Lord Shiva and His Consort watch over you all. I invite you all to see our Lord Shiva in our Blessed Ganga. It is quite a sight. I spent the night doing Pujas to Him and the Mother Kali. Become aware my chelas and live full and wonderful lives. These are my Pujas and these are my Prayers. I love you with all my heart. Love Ma Jai Shiva Ki Jai Jai Kali Ki Jai
