Om Ganesha Morning Pujas and Prayers from our Blessed Kashi Ashram Sept. 20, 1999
Namaste my chelas. The women’s intensive is over. It was incredible to teach over 150 woman from all over the country, the beauty of being the Mother. There was so much stillness, even for the new ones. Every one walked closer to the Guru and the Guru was there with open arms.
And now for our Morning Prayers and Pujas.
When you are not aware at all times you become deaf to what is healing and sacred. It is said in the Holy Bible to be still and know God. How is one to keep this stillness? One way is to be aware of the breath and know that this is the breath that connects you to God.
When you are aware of the breath, you begin to search within. You plunge deeper and deeper into the realm of silence.
You begin to live more and more in your heart space.
Draw attention to your breath in a even deeper way, by watching and feeling the breath going in and out in and out calmly and fully.
Bring your awareness under the guide of your Guru who dwells always in your heart. Now you are in a field of Shakti. This Heart Shakti can be with you all of your life.
Go a little deeper and feel who the Guru is to you. There is only light in this Shakti Field. It is the light of the Guru guiding you toward the 1000 petals of Shivas Lotus.
If you do not let your mind wander, by saying to your thoughts in a gentle and kind way, NOT NOW, then you will find yourself getting lighter and lighter as you go deeper and deeper.
Let the Mother guide you out of the Shakti field of the heart as you rise past your throat chakra and the third eye where the Guru can be seen between the eyebrows.
The force of Shakti then takes you into the vast and wonderful place of the Sahasrara Chakra.
This is the Space of Divine Wisdom.
The Guru Mothers Grace leads you to the middle of the thousand petaled lotus.
Here Shiva resides with Shakti.
You have managed simply by being aware to be in this place of wonderment and Bliss.
Your consciousness rises out of your Brahmarandra and you too have become one with the universe.
You may say that this is impossible. Oh my chelas, you who know your Ma well, do you think that I would take time from my service to others to teach you of your own purity if it was not possible for every one to reach this Sacred and Wondrous Space inside of you, starting from being aware of your breath going and coming in and out of your own heart.
Once you have tasted this experience even slightly, a anger disappears with in you and you have been given a new lease on life.
The Guru and the Gurus Guru is ecstatic within themselves. The sharing of this Bliss is the way of this lineage.
Be bathed in joy and ecstasy.
I sat before my teacher Swami Nityananda, and He taught your Ma with out many words how to be with my Guru.
Those years prepared your Ma for this moment. They say that Nityananda is the crown Jewel of all avadhutas. It is said that our Neem Karoli Baba is the Guru of the Gurus.
How can it be impossible for my chelas to reach their full potential if they, the great ones are in your lineage?
Start this moment my chelas by being very aware of the breath going in and out of your hearts.
I will ask the Mother Kali of the Night to take you on the wings of Her very own breath to the Lord Shiva in the midst of the 1000 petaled lotus.
