Om Ganesha, Morning Pujas and Prayers from our Sacred Kashi Ashram Sept. 24, 1999
Namaste my chelas, All of you have with in you, a star that must be given birth to. It is like the movie A star is born. At your birth you are born with a star of the Mothers heart waiting to be born. It is only when you acknowledge this star that the Mother Tara can come to you and prepare you for death of the ego. Tara is devoted to the stars. She is the one you should ask to let your own Mothers star shine through your self doubt and pettiness. You can not help but feel protected and loved by the Red Fierce Tara whose fangs eat evil before it can come near her childrens being. She is ferocious when it comes to her Chelas lives.
Oh my children, you may wonder of Mas love affair with form. Yet what would I do with out your Babas form? I can think of nothing more wonderful than holding on to the feet of the Guru.
This wonderful Hindu and Buddhist Tara wears human heads and has been known to defeat Mara in battle after battle. Mara is illusion. Let your star of spirituality begin to rise from the base of your spine at this moment. By the strength of your Gurus feet, you shall feel this great Mother burst forth within.
Tara is a very potent force. As you read these words so you shall become fearless on your journey. These were the words my Baba and my Swami said to your Ma over and over.
To be fearless on ones spiritual journey is to live fully in the present. Grasp the delight of knowing Mother Tara.
In our Dattatreya temple, is the Mother Tara. She is alive and full. She is well taken care of. Thus She is there for all Her children during Darshans and all other times. Form Form Form, what delicious forms the Goddess take to bring us all into our hearts. This Mother, who can not take one hair on her Chelas head to be hurt, will come to you if you call her when the first star rises in the sky. Do not take the stars for granted. Do not take the sunrise and sunsets for granted. Do not take the moon and the son or the life you were given for granted.
If you are reading these words then you are able to read the words of the Guru Mother. Even if Ma is not your Guru, She is your Mother.
Form Form Form can bring you into the Formless in a blink of a eye.
I give homage and pranams to my Mother Tara in the name of all my Chelas. She is the Great and Wonderful sister of Mother Kali. Form Form Form. Praise all forms of God and know the Formless.
I am bound to the feet of my Guru. I am bound to living my life at my Gurus feet.
He makes certain to always be where ever I am. It is He who taught me to be with all my chelas at all times. It is Mother Tara who taught me to be with all my chelas at the same time. Is this not a great deal of food for thought.
Never take this Darshan line for granted. My words drip with the juice of the Mother Kali and the Mother Tara.
She who pounds the earth with her delicate strong feet is indeed my Mother. Chela Chela look toward the stars and feel the delight of being Taras child. Wake up early in the new morning tomorrow and see the stars and feel the Mother. Perhaps you will be so filled with the Divine Form of the Mother that you will slip into the formless. I will be with you, my chelas. This is a simple Darshan this morning. So simple that it can lead you right to the feet of the Guru. Oh my Mother Tara, Lady of the Stars, you are the tears of the Buddha’s compassionate heart, take my children to the Formless and watch over them for their Ma. These are my Pujas and these are my Prayers. I love you all so very much. Love Ma Jai Neem Karoli Baba Ki Jai. Jai Tara Ma Ki Jai. Jai Kashi Ki Jai
