Namaste my chelas, We are all celebrating our 23, Anniversary on Sanibel Island. We have been coming here for 26 years.
Bina and I have been coming here a little longer. A wonderful priest showed us this Sacred Place many years ago as I was working with him with the migrant workers.
We use to have to walk for miles and miles, crossing gullies with all our belongings on our heads so they would not get wet.
Now my children’s children are with the Guru and we are once again on our beloved Sanibel.
This reminds me of a teaching our Baba gave me this life many many years ago. He said, My Ma, teach our children that if they turn their heads away from the moment, they will miss their whole life.
This has always stayed with me. This simple teaching from this great and wonderful Guruji.
My chelas, I say to you, do not look away from the moment no matter how painful or joyous it may be. Stare right at it and be in the greatness of the Moment.
The moment holds the Guru and Her Guru. The moment holds the truth of the Self.
So do not live one more second out of the moment. Breathe in the breath of the Guru as the moment swirls around us all. Feel, in this moment the protection of the Baba who loves us all beyond words and thoughts. Feel in this moment the Blackness of the Mother Kashi who loves us all beyond all.
And now my chelas, breathe deeply and feel the merge Mother and child on this Anniversary of the beginning of your ego death. I leave you now, as my chelas wait for their Guru Mother to celebrate our 23 years on our Blessed and Sacred Neem Karoli Ashram. I love you all so very much. Love Ma Jai Kali Ma Ki Jai
