Om Ganesha, Morning Pujas and Prayers from our Sacred Kashi Ashram Oct. 9, 1999
Namaste my chelas, There are so many of my chelas and guests on the Ashram from all over the country. Looking out from my porch I am watching every one pranam to the Murties or just sit by the Sacred Ganga where the Ashes of our many dead dwell on the Breast of the Mother.
The Durga Puja Intensive is going very well. There was not a drop of space in our Temple last night. I do not think there were ever chelas loved so much in the history of this world, the way my chelas are loved by the Guru and the Guru of Guru.
Your bodies is the house of the Mothers Breath. When you live in the house of the Mother, with great Awareness, then you can feel Her at all times.
The Light of the Mother is the way the chela finds her heart. Yes, sometimes you can not feel your own heart. You have let the crust of attachment become hard. This moment, think of the Guru loving you and feel the crust being soften by this love. Take your thoughts and transform them into a stream of Divine love.
How do you do this? you may ask the Mother.
You are the fire that must burn the ego until it melts into infinity. Feel the heat of this fire, the yearning and wanting of God Shiva and Goddess Kali. Let your own personality swim in the deep wisdom of detachment that you have inside of you.
Meditation is a form of Art, therefore bow low to the Mother of all Art, Saraswati and see between your brows a stream of sweetness. Go ahead and do this now.
Yes I mean sweetness. The ocean of Bliss begins in the Guru Chakra. Worldly love comes and goes, yet spiritual love leaves you with a stream of sweetness in the third eye that pulls from the Soma Chakra and drips right down into your spiritual heart.
The Stream of sweetness of Mother Saraswati is never muddy. It is always clear and flowing.
We are about to celebrate the 10 days of the Mother. They are all about the different forms of Mother Kali. Realize this great truth. The Mother Kali has many forms, why, even the form of the Lord Shiva is Part of the Mother Form. Shiva is half woman and half Man. He who is beneath the Mother Kalis feet is the male form, his female form Steps on His own chest and cries our for Her children to come dance in the cremation grounds of Her heart.
I ask the Great Mother Maha Kali to take you into her Cremation Grounds and show you your own burning egos. These are my Pujas and these are my Prayers.
