Om Ganesha, Morning Pujas and Prayers. January 9, 2000

Namaste my chelas, I love you all so very much.

The Free Tibet Activist have completely won over my heart. They are so respectful and kind. It is a pleasure to have them here.

The dignitaries came and were also humble and filled with the Buddha. All have acted in a very respectful and conscientious way. I am glad to be their Ma.

It is a pleasure to help the Dali Lama and His people. He is the greatest of all beings.

I am sending some pictures of the activities that are going on. The Lama speaking in Darshan is Lama Pema. He did a great prayer.

Now here is our Morning Pujas and Prayers

The Puranas are filled with descriptions of acts of generosity toward great Brahmans performed by kings and people in high places. By these acts they attained liberation. Yet what of modern day life. Is it not a good thing to be generous toward every one, not just the holy?

If you can fine goodness in every one and be generous with your time and your service, surely good karma will follow you wherever you go.

Once in a hospital, Arlo Guthrie who I love and adore, my student of many years and his Ma had guns pointed at us as we tried to serve the poor of a certain private hospital who had to take in a certain amount of the poor. The hospital was not too happy about taking in the poor or for that matter, us feeding them. Things have changed since that time, although not too much.

Discrimination lives on in many different disguises.

If you are generous to every one with your love and everything else you have, then you will be close to the Mother’s heart. This is the mystery of karma. General actions are added up.

A true holy being gives freely. A true holy being gives to the saint as well as the sinner. You see a true holy being can not tell the difference.

Do not let years pass and you wake up one day and you are a old man or woman. Serve someone today and give freely with out judgment.

Do not be caught in the drowning waters of selfishness. There is too much pain in this world.

I ask the Mother Candika to teach my children how to serve this day. These are my Prayer and these are my Pujas. I love you all so very much. Love Ma Jai Kali Ma Ki Jai. Jai Candika Ma Ki Jai.
