Om Ganesha, Morning Pujas and Prayers from our Sacred Kashi Ashram February 23, 2000
Om Ganesha, Namaste my chelas,
When one says that she or he is spiritual, they mean that they believe in a Divine Power.
This Shakti, Power, has no form. It also has no limits, no beginnings and no endings.
For us here at Kashi Ashram we use our Shakti in selfless service. It is our way of finding God.
Each person has a different way or thoughts on how to find God.
So many inner feelings run around in our hearts when it comes to God.
If you believe in a Divine Power then you are believing in your self.
If you meditate every day, you will find that your thoughts are no different than your mind.
Your thoughts begin to calm down thus freeing the mind from the stream of chatter that goes on all the time.
All the beads on a mala is kept together by the string. The beads move when one bead moves. If you take away the string all the beads on the Mala will fall apart.
All desires of the world will stop once you are able to stop the mind, just like the beads on a mala whose string broke.
Believe in the Divine Power of the Mother. This will let you believe in the Divine Power of your self. Believe in the Divine Power of your self, this will allow you to believe in the Divine Power of others.
Meditation is like fuel for the fire of life.
This fire burns away all worldly desires and sets you free and happy.
My Pujas and Prayers go out this morning to the Mother Durga.
I ask the Great Mother Durga to help you meditate each day of your life.
I ask the Great Mother Durga to let you taste Her love each and every day of your life.
These are my Pujas and these are my Prayers.
I love you all so very much.
Love Ma Jai Kali Ma Ki Jai
