Om Ganesha, Morning Pujas and Prayers from our Sacred and Blessed Kashi Ashram March 4, 2000
Om Ganesha. Namaste my chelas
Have you lost your silence? Have you gotten so lost in sounds that you have lost the power of silence that rides the waves of Shakti’s Stillness?
When was the last time you sat in your own silence? Are you afraid of being with your own true self.
Most are, you know.
When the mind is empty of sounds there is a expansion that takes place with in.
If you fill your mind with your Mantra then the mind becomes silent automatically.
When you live on a Ashram like we do here on our Sacred Kashi all sounds become the sounds of God.
People who live in community learn to respect sounds.
I use music to spread the Shakti all over the Ashram. All kinds of Music at all hours of the day and night.
I ring my Sacred Bells to honor the Gods and Goddesses. These sounds made with the Gurus Hands are God sounds.
The other day I saw my chela Narayana bending down by our Sacred Ganga for a little while. My heart swelled. He is with me for way over 23 years. When He stood up, he pranamed to the Ganga. At the same time my youngest daughter Kwang Mae Yogini was washing the windows of the sliding doors.
It a wonderful sight. So simple. Both about 10 feet away from each other and both respecting the Sacredness of the Ashram in their own silent way.
Have you misplaced your silence. If you have, then you have misplaced your silent heart and the ability to stop the chatter of your mind.
Think about the different sounds which you live with all the day long.
There are so many. Instead of getting annoyed, merge the sounds with your action meditation. Say your Mantra over and over. Call out the Name of your Guru inside of your mind.
All sounds then become a part of God Sounds.
When you are alone hear the sound of your breath going in and out. Do this right now. Feel the silent heart become the silent mind. Feel the silent mind still your tongue.
So many say so many unnecessary words during the day. Are you one of them.
This day keep a little silent, more silent then yesterday. Don’t make a big thing about it, just keep a little more silent.
You will then be able to incorporate all sounds into the sound of OM.
I ask the Great Mother Saraswati to bring to you the sound of Her Sacred
Vina to fill your heart and your mind.
These are my Prayers and these are my Pujas.
I love you all so very much.
Be silent this day and be filled with the Guruji.
Love Ma Jai Kali Ma Ki Jai
