Om Ganesha,

Evening Pujas and Prayers

April 20, 2004

Namaste my chelas all over the world,

This evening. think how you would live this day if you gave to the Mother Smashan Kali all your self hate and self dislike and self disapproval.

Think about the joy in your hearts if you would give to the DARK MOTHER KALI YOUR OBSESSIVE NEED FOR APPROVAL FROM OTHERS.

To offer all of this to the Mother is absolutely essential.

And when all of these above melts into the Great Embers of Mother Kali’s Fire, then you are consuming fear right in the MOMENT OF THE GREAT THOUGHT, TAKE THIS FROM ME MY MOTHER.

As soon as the Mother hears your sincerity, all boundaries that organized religion causes one to walk a narrow path, disappears in the first split second of calling.

I have known great men and woman in organized religions that are very open and put no one down, and this is because their Gods and Goddesses are big and are not afraid to have their devotees learning about all faiths and paths.

As your Mother Guru writes these words of prasad to all of you, I can hear my chelas singing kirtan in our Dattatreya Temple and I am filled with gratitude for the life we all lead all over the country and world but especially Here on our Sacred Grounds.

Our month long work study brings Here my chelas and other teachers students from all religions and all teachings to learn how to bring out the kindness behind all Great Traditions and leave off the prejudices and pain that the fundamentalist brings to the world in many forms including wars..

I call upon my Gods and my Goddesses and I call on your Gods and your Goddesses and I ask, no I beg for the end to all that which hurts another.

I beg with out shame on bent knees for World Peace and all that entails.

Now that it is spring and the Ashram is filled with new grass and flowers and the joy of celebration, I ask you all to bring to your heart the caring of others who are in need of your caring.

In the silence and pain of so many hearts, I ask for all to speak out for what you believe and to break open the silence.

Before morning breaks in the early Kashi Dawn, I will have said all your names and especially our Little Jaya who lays in a hospital bed fighting for her life and for our babies in Uganda and all who are in need,

I will say your names on the Garland of the Mala I lay on the Feet of my Guru, Your Paramaguru.

He is changeless since the beginning of time and before even then.

As darkness settles on the roofs of our Kashi Ashram, I hold you all so close to my heart as the Mother Kali’s chest rises and falls like the tides.

To day after my visit to THE D- I played hooky with my Shody and my Swami Rudra Das and saw CONNIE AND CARLA, which I loved until the little bitch of the girl friend looked at the drag queens and called them freaks.

For a moment I forgot where I was and started to feel the tears roll down my face and could not wait to get Home to our Haven our Paradise, our vacation from hate, yet I so loved this movie and of coursed loved the ending.

My children any one of my children (chelas ) have served and served and gave of their hearts all over the world and we all have seen so much and will see so much and yet one word touched something in your Mother Guru, making me want to scream out to the world, DO MORE, MUCH MORE, NO MATTER HOW TIRED YOU GET, DO MORE AND OTHERS WILL FOLLOW.

HOW DARE ANY ONE CALL ANOTHER BEAUTIFUL HUMAN BEING A FREAK.

This is the week that the Holocaust is remembered and one takes in the memory of our families and the families of others who survived the hate and pain and those who did not, and some in this world are trying to say that the Holocaust did not exist.

WILL THEY SAY THIS IN FIFTY YEARS ABOUT AIDS?

My chelas, pain is pain and no matter what pain anyone is in, it belongs to all of us.

( I swear I can not even go to a movie in my old age. )

Pain is not in the distant east or on a mountain top or the jungles or bush only.

It is every where, where there are those who judge and call judgment upon others.

Pain crosses over the oceans and gets into our beds and sleeps with us even if you do not want to know about it.

And that brings us to the fourth cubby hole INDIFFERENCE.

TO BE INDIFFERENT IS TO BRING GREAT KARMA TO THE HEART THAT WILL CARRY OVER TO THE NEXT MOMENT AND THE NEXT LIFE TIME.

My chelas, (can you imagine if i saw a drama) CARE ABOUT OTHERS LET GO OF THE FIFTH CUBBY HOLE OR AT LEAST BEGIN TO SLIDE OUT OF IT, #5 EGO OF SELF THOUGHT/ SELF INDULGENCE.

I look forward in teaching and sharing so much of THE VEDAS AND SCRIPTURES AND ALL WAYS OF LIFE THAT BRINGS ABOUT KINDNESS AND EQUALITY.

THAT WHICH WAS WRITTEN WHEN THE MOTHER WAS LOVED AND KINDNESS WAS HER PATH, WAY IN THE BEGINNING BEFORE WARS AND WHEN GOD AND GODDESS MEANT PEACE AND GOOD WILL AND JOY AND CELEBRATION OF THE STARS AND ALL THE GIFTS OF LOVE THAT GOD HAS GIVEN TO US.

I love you my chelas so very much.

Feel this love in every part of your being and never forget it ever!

This is my Pujas and this is my Prayers to all the Gods and Goddesses Every Where and Any Where.

Love Ma Jaya
