Afternoon Pujas and Prayers
Namaste my chelas all over the world.
Identifying with your Beloved can bring joy to the hungry heart.
Your primal spirit is always merged in your Beloved’s Being.
The Essence of this merge is open and spacious.
It is like the deep blue ocean or the vast sky.
The heart of your Beloved is always guiding you and protecting you.
On of the first thing my Baba Neem Karoli told me is TO ALWAYS PROTECT YOUR CHILDREN, MA.
I have made this my life’s work and will continue to do so.
As I teach you more and more to awaken to your spirit body you will be like a lotus flower always opening.
In the way of the heart The Guru Mother is always thinking of Her children all over the world.
Their suffering is Her suffering.
Their joy is Her joy.
Today after riding in our Kali Kart all over the Ashram with our Yashoda I could not believe how one could not fall on the very soil we walk upon and give thanks to our Mother Kashi.
She is the Sacredness of all things holy and the bliss of all joys.
I am called the FOUNDER OF THIS HOLY KASHI yet i must say that it was our Baba Neem Karoli who is the true FOUNDER OF THIS HOLY PLACE.
She is the energy of all that is light.
In the stillness of the afternoon one could see the Shadow Gods playing beneath the trees.
It is She who is our Mother who activates our minds and hearts.
The gentle breeze over our Ganga begins in the heart and winds up in the Infinite.
She teaches us all to bathe in Her Watery Essence.
To not react to the anger of others.
To start each dawn with a fresh out look.
Mother Kashi teaches beyond words.
She teaches you how not to destroy Her Sister Earth.
And all She wants is your happiness in life and death.
Her essential message is kindness.
Knowing how to be in the wisdom flow of compassion can save one life times of seeking.
She who is Mother of all, teaches all to slow down their anger at first, and then to finally let it go.
Letting go of anger is the key to letting go of depression.
Letting go of depression is to be able to walk forward while always being in the moment.
Going into all of our temples one by one, is like going into a dream of our Baba’s.
So much Shakti and so much Love.
Can I ever tell you how happy i am to be Home on our Sacred Shores.
My chelas write in your journals all that you are grateful for living or visiting our Mother Ashram.
Now in this mode write down what in life makes you angry?
What is it that starts off the anger?
Is it the words that run through your ego mind, I CAN NOT TAKE THIS ANY MORE?
Write down any of the thoughts that you have before you burst into anger.
For instance with your Ma, I received a letter from my own Guru Jaya Das about pat robins saying that Ellen DeGeneres caused New Orleans to have such horror being she is a lesbian.
I got madder and madder until I began to laugh at the stupidity of it all.
I knew my dikes had a lot of power, but pat this is really the end.
In stead of this so called man of God helping the poor he name calls.
Dear God when will this stupidity and anger end.
I am very proud of my Gay and Lesbian children and every one inbetween.
But then again the prejudice got your Ma to talk about Her children again and this goes out all over the world. ( not that i need prompting )
Bigotry gives birth to terrible wars and pain.
It is the quiet heart which is the main gender of compasion.
The Soul has no gender.
Making fists and causing pain does nothing but breed all kinds of confusion and grief.
People who have such terrible fear and anger, who says such things is in the darkest space of ABUSE OF POWER.
When you have such anger and have a place in this world of a teacher, then all the karma of what you teach goes upon the one who is teaching.
As I call on Ardhanarishvara who is known as THE HALF WOMAN LORD, I bow in appreciation for this Goddess - God’s existence in our lives.
I ask our Ardhanarishvara to bring Her Blessings of open hearts and mind to all who lead in this world.
