Om Ganesha,

Evening Pujas and Prayers

May 17, 2006

Namaste my chelas all over the world.

The Self is far from all problems.

Yet it is the Self that casts its reflection on your life.

When one is overpowered by the ego’s ability to keep you indifferent or ignorant in the impressions you have on others then your life just slips away and soon you are at the door of old age and have not truly heard your own Soul.

The heart of the Soul helps you develop a poised mind.

Then you are able to see your actions as they are.

You can seek guidance from your inner Self through meditation and the quiet mind of contemplation.

Learning the fine art of the chidakasha one is learning the art of detachment.

Detachment is not  being cold or indifferent, rather detachment will endow you with the great spiritual freedom of caring and compassion.

Detachment brings on the exciting journey of expansion.

Meditation leads you to the strength in your heart that will take you beyond the ego.

You become calm and filled with compassion.

The more you meditate the more calmly you live your day to day existence.

True detachment brings you to the attachment to the Divine Self of yourself and others.

In all of us is a divine urge to experience the nectar of the spiritual heart.

I would like to take this moment to ask you all to pray for a woman who is very close to me and my heart.

She is my son Father Centurio’s Mother in Uganda who is one of the great woman that I have the pleasure to have in my life.

She was in an accident and is in terrible horrible pain.

I will spend all of the rest of my day and all night and many days and nights after this to pray and do Pujas for this wonderful woman.

Ma’s Jaya is letting me know what is going on and I will let you know.

Father Centurio, I hold you in my heart every moment of my life.

Please let your Mother know that we all will be praying for her well being and that she should give the pain to the Divine Mother if she can.

Tell her I love her very much.

My Pujas and Prayers are that you all pray for this wonderful woman.

I love you all so very much.

Love Ma

Always at His Feet Of Our Neem Karoli Baba Ki Jai

Namaste Ma, I spoke with Fr. Centurio yesterday and he told me that his mother’s x-rays have still not been read and that she is in much pain. His aunt and sister in law are staying with her at the hospital. Ugandan hospitals do not provide the basic care that we expect. She is in Saint Anthony’s and I know that the nurses are well trained there and competent however all of her food must be brought in and also that the family members must carry her to the toilet when she needs to go. I can only imagine how painful that must be for her. I am also sure that they are doing their best and probably sleeping on the floor next to her bed. The hospital also experiences the regular power outages that have become a part of daily life in Uganda. I asked him to ask the doctor to give her pain medication. She cannot walk or move much at all. Please continue to keep her in your Puja and prayers. She is a remarkable woman and has lived a very hard life. Up until the day she was hit by the car, she worked in her garden every day. And when I say garden I mean acres of planted fields of corn and cassava and weeding with a hoe. She kept her family together when her husband was murdered by Idi Amin’s soldiers and most of her children finished college. Although, she does not speak English, she wanted to make sure that I thanked you for the gifts you sent her. Ma, she is also a happy person without bitterness or anger. Thank you so much. All my love, Ma’s Jaya
