Om Ganesha,
Afternoon Pujas and Prayers
May 28, 2006
Namaste my chelas,
Looking out over our Sacred Ganga, there were bus loads of Hindu woman and men walking all around our Holy River and enjoying Mother Kashi.
Some were being taken in the Kali Kart and other were walking.
All were filled with the beauty and love that one feels as they come Home to Our Mother Ashram.
Meanwhile in our Kashi kitchen there was birthday parties going on for our Swami Durga Das and our Lahiri.
People were flooding out to our Ganga under our big umbrella as the Mother Guru watched from Her rooms while doing Pujas and Prayers for all of you.
The moment was so rich and full.
Kashi’s beauty was soft and like music that one hears in the depths of one’s heart.
I watched as my grown up chelas ate enough pizzas to stop an elephant in his tracks.
My God do we love to eat!
I watched as our adults played with the fish in our Ganga as the children watched on.
Our children and young adult’s foot prints imprinted in the sands of Kashi from years of growing up under the watchful eye of their Guru Mother.
In the midday sun Kashi looks like a red lotus on fire with the beauty of its core showing others how to love and appreciate.
Kashi is a beautiful woman taken care of by so many and the Mother watches as Swami Mohan and Krishna Das Jaya and Lahiri and so many others take care of Her dresses in the green foliage of a summer day.
She is the echo of endless passion and love.
She is like a swan whose children come Home to Her to see Her beauty once again and again.
She is the eternal crystal of our Baba and your Ma’s heart.
This afternoon She is like a ray of the Sun growing more and more light each moment.
All of Kashi is Smashan Mother’s Garden and Her children are like flowers that blossom always.
My Pujas and Prayers are that my chelas always appreciate Her Beauty and Her Compassion.
This is my Puja and this is my Prayer.
I love you all so very much.
Love Ma
