Namaste Ma, I am writing to you through my tears. I just spoke with Teopista who was the head trainer that we sent to Kitgum in Northern Uganda to train the women on Long Term Survivor Skills for HIV. Teopy told me that they actually traveled at night on the long journey to the North. Father Centurio had shared your prayer with them before they left. She told me they felt you and the one hundred women here at Kashi holding them and were not frightened. She said they were so proud to represent you to the women of the Acholi Tribe. She also told me that she will always serve in your Name without asking for anything in return. She was proud and honored to be chosen as one of the trainers. The workshop was attended by not only the women but also two doctors from the local clinics as well as the local agricultural official. Everyone was so happy and excited including the docs to be getting this training. They could not believe that our trainers would travel so far and under such dangerous conditions to train them and they were very grateful. They taught long term survivor skills, nutrition, disclosure, stigma, home care and gave out the seeds we purchased for them. The only complaint was that the workshop was not long enough. We hope to send them again this time into the camps to train the women there. Ma, where are the words to thank you? You are the Beloved and the Mother and I am so grateful that you are my Ma and Beloved. Even these women so far away and living is such different circumstances and different religions know you are their Ma. I am filled with gratitude and love. Thank you so much! I love you. Your daughter, Ma’s Jaya
