Om Ganesha,

Morning Pujas and Prayers

Jan. 5, 2008

Namaste my chelas all over the world.

My life flows from Pujas to Prayers to Pujas again for 24 hours each day.

From the springs of the morning dew to the brightness of the stars your Ma does Pujas for all of you where ever you are in the world.

I place flowers at the Feet Of My Baba in your Names, all during the day and night.

I know only to love and to feed every one.

This are the lessons of our Neem Karoli Baba.

I do not ask of my Guru explanations, I just do as He, my Beloved asks me to do.

I wait for His instructions and they envelop me.

He is the Light and the Shadow that came into my life all of my lives.

Whether to give thanks for a leaf on a tree of Kashi or a raindrop, it does not matter.

My heart is a grateful heart and Kashi is like a kiss from the Gods and Goddesses that fall upon earth.

She shows us all the fire and tenderness of the true love of the Mother.

Since I have been painting Bhagavati by the Ganges, I have looked for the poems that I use to say and my chela’s wrote down.

You see the Bhagavati by the Ganges is a big part of our Lineage.

It is when the child whose name was Mukti Bai Sharma was told of a ceremony to come and that she would live with an old Swami who will teach Her how to be with Her Beloved that the child begged of Her parents not to let Her go.

She was told that Her Name would be changed to Bhagavati and She would live by the Ganges learning from The Great Swami Nityananda so the story goes.

It is the woman child who is doing the asanas in Her 12th year of life and the fifth year of living by the Ganges with only the Great Swami and her Auntie Janaki Ma.

These words were written March 26, 1986

We were already in our tenth year on our Sacred Kashi.

When I was young and I knew I was to be alone with and old strict Holy Swami I cried tears as any child would do.

I begged my parents, DON’T LET ME GO, DON’T LET ME GO.

For the coldness of the snow will have me run away.

How can you send a child to learn?

How can you send my insides to burn.

I love you my Mother My Father too,

You say He will teach me to be ready for Guru.

He will teach me how to be with the Holy one who will come for me.

Don’t let me go, I am only seven.

What do I know of the earth, Guru’s or heaven.

I packed all my bags and I went with my Aunt

Went with my Aunt.

And we stayed in a kuti so small with stairs going into a loft that looked over the River.

And I grew and I grew and I learnt and I became what I am today.

For He taught me to play and he also was strict in every way.

He taught me of Pujas that I would do to my Beloved.

He taught me to pray.

Swami Nityananda Swami NItyananda, I pranam to you and I say it clear.

For you taught me that snows I will be going to was very dear.

Oh the tears they dried and my insides didn’t cry and more

I waited for my Beloved to come down the mountain and take His bride away to take His bride a way

Kali Natha Yoga was taught in those wonderful days by the Ganges, Bhagavati by the Ganges

These were words sang in our coral every day until so much was written down.

They were quite simple and so I hesitated to write them now.

Perhaps too simple

You my chelas gathered around me and listened well.

Now you are reading these words.

A myth, maybe.

A truth maybe.

A symbolic myth that is a truth maybe.

I love you my chelas.

Love Ma

Jai Kali Ma Ki Jai

Always at His Feet Of Our Neem Karoli Baba Ki Jai
