Om Ganesha,

Evening Pujas and Prayers.

Feb. 23, 2008

Namaste my chelas all over the world.

You have been ordering the Bhagavati by the Ganges Paintings and I promise I am doing every one of them for you.

They take many hours to do pujas to and to place the Sacred Ash under the Paints and drawings.

Each one means so much to the one who is ordering them and to me and to all of us.

They tell the story of your Lineage.

Here is a poem written in 1978.

It is called Shiva Shakti.

Have you seen Bhagavati run this way, sadhu?

Who Master ? asked the sadhu, bowing low in reverence.

Bhagavati my consort.

She was seen running down the mountain toward the land of the nagas.

No, my Master, answered the sadhu,

I did not see your beautiful consort.

All that passed this way was a peasant child,

Dressed in a cotton dhoti wrapped around Her like a Sanyasi.

Running with matted hair.

Like the wind She ran.

Nothing slowed Her down.

How She ran, laughing in the wind.

Defying nature and and human to stop Her.

Her skin was dark, reddish brown.

Her eyes were brown they were on fire.

They laughed as She turned toward me and pranamed.

Then She disappeared in the forest.

Like a leopard chasing prey.

Look how I am talking to my Lord said the sadhu.

What interest why would you have in a peasant?

I am sorry my Lord,

Why do you have tears my Lord?

You are my Shiva, will they turn into Rudraksha beads?

And bless the world.

My Shiva, is it for your bride you cry?

I have not seen your heavenly queen.

But you have sadhu, you have.

Did the peasant child have beauty beyond compare? asked Bhagavat Shiva

Did She defy all the world to stop Her running?

Her black hair did it shine like the moon’s own light?

When it is full?

You did see my bride racing time?

I cry because it is a sight I long to see and did not.

How much good karma I must have, said the sadhu.

To see Shiva Shakti all in one day.

I am indeed blessed.

Yes said Bhagavat, indeed you are.

And He took off like the wind after the wind.

I love you my chelas.

Please realize how precious this poetry is to all of us.

And to you also.

Love Ma
