Om Ganesha,

Evening Pujas and Prayers

July 30, 2008

Namaste my chelas all over the world.

DEATH HAS A HEART

( INTRUDER OR HONORED GUEST )

It is said that in Kashi Lord Shiva is the King Of Death.

That Yama bows to the Ashen Lord,

Death bows to Shiva and Shiva dances for death.

Each new morn I welcome Death.

Good morning Death how are you this living day?

Every moment of life in death is perfection.

Death smiles at me for He is no stranger to my Ashram’s Shores.

I will walk with you Death as I live life among my chelas.

Again He smiles and I can see the blessings of thousands of my loved ones in Deaths Eyes.

I will teach of your heart Death I declare.

I will teach of the Death of each action in life and the renewal of new actions with the wisdom of Death on each of our breaths.

DEATH HAS A HEART.

He deals with the goodness in each and every one and awakens us to life and the higher values of life.

Death walks amongst the living and delves into circumstances.

He teaches us of assumptions of our consequences and its karmic values.

Life He says, is meant to renew revive and to share.

All are welcome into death and one can always feel the whisper of their loved ones who passed over into the Great Light.

Death is the benediction of life that we may begin at any age not just at birth.

How much closer though is a infant to deaths dreams of heaven on earth as he smiles in his Mother’s Womb.

Some times in the early morning hours before dawn, I hear Death knocking at the door of my heart and as I welcome Him I also say of so many NOT YET DEATH, THERE IS STILL SO MUCH LIFE.

Again I watch as Death smiles a smile that reaches His Eyes and speaks to me of the living moment of the present and how there is truly no other place.

One is whole only in the moment.

One can be receptive to Death only in the moment.

And as He speaks my mind races back to so many who have died in my arms, due to AIDS yet not before they asked me how to die.

The more you are free of the past the easier the dying becomes and the light is always there for you to go to and through.

So many so young and so close to our hearts. They still live in the continuous present of the beat of our hearts.

I can still remember our Sita Ram Baba who right before death came a knocking asked me to not let him be in the coldness of death but bring him to the heat of the Mother Kali’s Arms and he said this with a smile on his face as She who he requested came closer to take him across.

Death is not a woman or man of many words.

In fact one can hear him or her in their hearts at any time during life.

I will use the word him through out the book yet Death is like Avalokteshwara half male and half female.

I teach my chelas to pay close attention to the gaps between the in breath and out breath.

This is the bardo of patience and waiting.

To know of death is to be on a spiritual Retreat all through life.

Fear disappears as soon as one understands that death has a heart.

Each of us has a deep fascination for expansion and yet so many are afraid to let their hearts expand to embrace Death.

Death is the host of life.

Some may ask of Death WHY HAVE YOU ARRIVED ALREADY?

What roads have you taken to come here from the hereafter.

Though I have expected you, you do not frighten me, as you are simply the brightest of Lights.

Here by our River The Ganga one bathes their limbs and body in the holy waters and are blessed with the vision of death.

Death is like the stars they are always there yet one will have no recognition in the daylight hours.

How radiant Death is as He prepares us all through our life.

His radiance will be known as our own as we prepare for Death by being aware more and more in life.

Namaste my chelas,

Don’t worry I am still writing of the Karmic Spaces yet I have always wanted to write a book on the Deity Death.

The publishing committee really got my juices flowing

I love you all so very much.

I miss you all.

Love Ma
