Om Ganesha,
Morning Pujas and Prayers
August 21, 2008
Namaste my chelas all over the world.
How much easier life can become when you make friends with Death.
I know that understanding that life has no end can help so many as it did for me when tragedy struck.
I have been teaching you all of the wandering wanderer for a very long time.
We all have the wanderer in our hearts and now with the understanding even slightly of Death THE WANDERER DISCOVERS IN THE MOMENT AN ETERNALLY WONDERFUL SPACE IN THE NOW.
ONCE WE COME TO THIS PLACE OF UNDERSTANDING YOU ARE NOT CONFRONTED BY THE FALSENESS OF THE EGO THAT BRINGS ABOUT A STATE OF FEAR.
The power of living is so grand.
It comes from not fearing Death.
The beauty of this Teaching is that one does not have to wait for Death, one knows He is always around.
Not hovering, but protecting.
So many put off what they truly have to do thinking that time is patient and will wait for them to do what it is they have to do.
This is where the ego comes in and brings the WAY OF PROCRASTINATION with it.
Yet how much more beautiful life is when we can satisfy the demand of our hearts by not putting off anything that can be done in the moment.
With these words we can equate procrastination with the FIFTH CUBBY HOLE OF EGO OF SELF THOUGHT SELF INDULGENCE.
We allow our minds to think of anything other than the task at hand.
I have found that one can reward themselves with little gifts when procrastination can be put to rest.
Perhaps an hour or so of reading a good book, meditation or anything that you love to do with out the guilt of this particular Karmic Space.
The ego would allow you to think of time as forever as if it was another world that contains no time, simply the word later or tomorrow.
Remember Death is not a tyrant that comes at you with out preparation.
All of our lives are preparation for Death.
Being in the moment has the appetite for living at any age.
Yet it is the young that live in the moment THE BEST.
They play and laugh and cry in the moment and forgive and love in the moment.
It astonishes me how we all were taught to fear the judgment of Death and the finality of it all.
And yet it is in life where we judge ourselves and others much more harshly than Death can ever do.
Watching the breath in a quiet moment brings many options of life.
Being quiet one can feel the deepest elements of life surrounding us and in this quiet, with practice one can remember the beauty of Death past deaths and eventually past lives.
All of life is a gift and at times this gift comes when not expected.
The gift that comes to our hearts is the blessings of receiving what we always wanted and yet perhaps we did not think we even wanted.
Life is the gift of being aware of the breath.
At times this is the gift from Death Himself.
So many times we do not recognize the gifts we receive from the Divine..
This gift can be the whisper of the Mother that gives us a taste of love like never before.
I love how my chelas enjoy when I write of Smashan Kali and Her Cremation Grounds.
She becomes our guide to all the funeral pyres.
Those that burn the ego or the physical body.
The fresh winds brings us the caress of the fire of death in the breeze of life.
How protected one can feel as Mother Kali takes us into the perfect fit of our Soul and She who watches over us.
Lord Yama translates in some languages as twin.
He always has a twin sister known as Yami or Yamanata near Him.
Thus there are always two ways to ride the winds of life.
In the moment where we are free or outside the moment where we are in a prison of our own making.
One can learn from the elderly who wait for death and yet still live in the moment.
They carry with them the wrinkles of wisdom and though they are the elder teachers they do not hesitate to learn from the young.
Death makes all welcome even when you may pull back.
There is no death of beauty that lives with in us.
This beauty follows us into the boundaries of Death.
Be overwhelmed with the beauty of nature and life and you will be overwhelmed in the eternal force of life into death.
I love you my chelas.
The funereal pyres of the ego stands ready to take the fear that the ego brings to us in the form of time that does not exist.
The Divine splendor of Lord Krishna as He showed Himself to Arjuna is the splendor of all the gods and goddesses who will show themselves to every one of us if you simply ask.
Procrastination costs us our peace of mind.
Living in the moment brings us peace of heart in life and death.
I love you my chelas.
