Om Ganesha,
Morning Pujas and Prayers.
Oct. 1. 2008
Namaste my chelas all over the world.
It was during Durga Puja over 15, years ago that a little puppy was given to me by Little Krishna Bai.
I named Him Puja.
And through out all my pain over losing my son Jimmy Boy and all the pain of the world, My Puja lived to be at my Feet.
He has been in agony lately and last night He came and got me out of my cave where I was doing Pujas.
He was in agony and crying out in pain.
He could not stop licking my face as if to say goodby before he could not.
We took him out side where he could not stop throwing up and screaming with pain and trying to jump into my arms.
God bless my Shakti Durgaya and my Minakshi.
Shakti came right away and called the vet who was kind enough to come into the office though it was very late.
The dog was in shock and was going deeper in pain.
And so last night holding my Puja, Minakshi Jaya and Shakti were with him as he made his transition.
I would like to take this time to explain to so many who are not animal lovers how to understand the love that one who has a pet feels all the time.
So many would say oh it is just a cat or just a dog or what ever animal you have.
It does not work like this.
It is about being a part of you.
That which no one else can bring you, a deep unconditional love.
Loving an animal also brings out the good in others.
I have never seen such devotion like so many of my chelas expressed toward my animals ever.
I am writing this Darshan Line to thank every one who has taken care of my Puja and any animal.
You are all part of my being and my life.
I hold all of you who has taken this one dog into your heart.
For this is the animal which healed my own heart so many times.
Rest well my Puja
Thank you my chelas so very much.
Life is life and how we chose to live it completes death and draws life closer and dearer than ever before.
