Om Ganesha,
Morning Pujas and Prayers
Dec. 1, 2008
Namaste my chelas all over the world.
This is the twentieth year that we are celebrating WORLD AIDS DAY.
Kali Natha Yoga teaches us that happiness is always available to us no matter what our circumstances or how we live our lives.
Yet how can any of us be happy if we forget those who have died due to a plague that still there is no cure.
Yes happiness is the joy one finds in the heart and yet it is pure bliss to help those now who are in pain or who are living with this disease all over the world.
I call to mind such great heroes, care givers who gave their all during this epidemic and is still giving at this time.
As I looked over my Ganga during our candle light vigil Saturday Night my heart hurt so badly.
And yet I was so proud of every one who has helped fight this battle.
Every day I try to visualize every one of the hundreds and hundreds of those of my Beloved’s who lost their lives over the past many years.
This feeling of love expends into all of us and a form of ecstasy comes to us a bliss that can only come when one gives of themselves.
Perhaps I am just a Mother grieving out loud for all my babies who do not walk this earth due to no cure for AIDS.
Or perhaps I am so grateful to have known such fabulous young men and women who were always ready to help each other even as death entered into their lives.
Don’t cry Ma so many told me with their last breaths and yet I do.
At as with all the great truths the understanding of what joy is inside of us when we do serve is felt deeply.
So I ask you all to remember those you perhaps forgot for a short while.
I am beyond grateful for those who are still alive and living good healthy lives though they have AIDS.
I have taught year after year that THEY ARE NOT THIS DISEASE, THAT THEY ARE BEAUTIFUL MEN AND WOMEN WHO HAPPEN TO HAVE AIDS.
What I am really talking about when I discuss with you inner joy is how much bliss there is to serving others.
This is ananda, THE BLISS THAT COMES WITH UNDERSTANDING THAT WE ARE ALL ONE AND IF ONE HAS PAIN THEN WE ALL HAVE PAIN.
Kali Natha Yoga is certainly about using movement to help our selves and to serve others.
In Vyasa’s commentary on the Yoga Sutra is the spirit of renunciation, meaning the absence of desire for anything other than what we need, and we all need to serve.
Accept what is my chelas and change what you can.
The Soul has no gender only grace.
We all have had the grace to have served and serve we will.
Do not forget our dead and take care of our living.
This is my Puja and this is my Prayer this DAY OF AIDS AWARENESS.
I love you all.
Love Ma
Jai Kali Ma Ki Jai
Always at His Feet of our Neem Karoli Baba and Lord Hanumanji both the same Ki Jai
