Om Ganesha,
Evening Pujas and Prayers
December 17, 2008
Namaste my chelas all over the world.
When your Beloved resides in your heart death is easier to understand.
I watched my Saraswati Ganga Ma in the hospital surrounded by swamis and friends comfortably breathing in and out two days before she entered into the Great Light.
Placing the Ganga Water on Her forehead and Sacred Ash she went deeper and deeper into her Beloved’s arms as her Guru embraced her.
In the chambers of her heart Her Beloved waited.
I loved and love this magnificent woman who was loved by so many.
She brought life and music and the arts to those who knew her.
My Radha and my Swami Himalya did so much and so did others to make her comfortable.
She was very close to my Chandra Das.
I miss her letters to me and how we talked about the jazz greats including my favorite of all times Dinah Washington whom she knew personally.
Her Beloved took her heart and the sound of her last heart beats blessed us all.
Her silence was filled with her friendship to so many.
It is true that our anguish at losing some one we love melts our hearts yet it also true that one brings the absence of pain or fear at their own death.
So we who knew her let us give thanks for the graceful woman who blessed our lives with her presence and know she will bless us with her spirit which of course never dies, it lives on our breath
I love you my chelas with all my heart.
Love Ma
