The Fourth Of July
Namaste my chelas all over the world.
When my Mother was two years old she was shot in the abs and was given a one % chance of living Like a miracle she lived. It happened in the street in Coney Island during a celebration for the fourth of July.
It was also said that she would never have any children
Well she lived and she had four children with your Ma being her youngest .
She also left her body at the age of 49 in the hospital on the FOURTH OF JULY.
( She died in the hospital in Coney Island that my Achariya Durga Das and my other chelas serve in today)
So much time in her life to live and have her children.
Though very poor we survived.
Now it is only me and my big brother whom I love very much as all of you do.
We light the Yahrzeit candle as is the way of the Jewish religion and give thanks for this magnificent woman who is always with me.
She also loves my Minakshi Jaya very much.
( this is another story for another time )
And so I celebrate this day for two reasons and I give thanks for her life every day of my own.
We are having our rank test today also.
And my two girls wrote me already that they have gotten their black belt
My Mahan Lakshmi Jaya and her sister my Saraswati Rose Jaya Ma
I am so proud of them and all those who took the rank test.
And of course all those who took the test and who gave it.
Has a Mother ever been so proud?
And so much more bliss living on Baba’s Ashram
My children grow and grow and go closer and closer.
And yet the mystic surrenders every thing in order to find God.
This is the truth that is in every spiritual experience.
Underneath is just the wonder of non being.
This experience reflexes into consciousness.
You do come back knowing that you do not exist as others may perceive you
Except Mother.
The mind tries to grasp what is happening.
Gradually we awaken to this consciousness and live it in this world.
We cross the threshold into this experience and know we are one in the Emptiness.
We go into the Emptiness.
We jump into life as we step out of the ego.
We jump into the Mother’s Arms and She holds us tightly through out life.
We also jump into the identify of the ego, yet the Mother is right there.
We always bring back some of the Emptiness into this life.
You gradually develop the knowing of the Self.
We learn more and more each life time from the Guru.
Be aware my children how much you are loved and held this life and all life times by the Universal Mother.
I love you all so very much.
