Afternoon Pujas and Prayers

Namaste my chelas all over the world.
It is always at this time that I enjoy Mother Ashram so much.
The first night of Durga Puja.
This is the night of our Mother Kali.
I look across the Ganga and see my chelas working hard getting ready for our Ceremony.
The whole Ashram becomes alive as the night gets closer and closer.
Kashi is a living form of all deities.
Each part of ones heart joins with the hearts of the deities.
During the pujas to Mother Kali the seeker is filled with a love that is so deep that he can hardly speak.
Mother Kali calls Her chelas to Her and the feelings of acceptance winds around our hearts and touches softly our Soul.
This is the supreme experience of Mother and child.
This experience is above all planes and is Light itself.
It is the Love of Shiva For Shakti and Shakti for Shiva.
And all the chela has to do is to watch the fire in the dhuni reach the fire in her heart.
All places of darkness disappear with this light in its center.
The infinite intensity of Mother Kali’s Love for you can be felt.
This intensity brings us out of the waters of delusion and takes us into the Great Mother Ganga.
Kali’s eyes are like two black jewels that makes Her chelas promises, the promise of life that She always keeps.
Her living heart brings us to that luminous sphere where we can see Her clearly before the great dhuni.
Tonight as we all huddle beneath Kashi’s sky one will be able to feel the joy and protection of the Great Black Mother Kali. Healings begin.
Healings that you receive on the Night of the Black Mother.
Many times over your life time the Guru calls on the Mother to bring health to her chelas.
Some times it may take years but slowly you will get well and have a healthy life simply by sitting at the Feet Of The Guru as She sits at the Feet Of Her Guru.
It all works like this.
Faith brings health and prosperity.
It is when the chela thinks that she knows more than the Guru that she begins to slip into the darkness.
Yet on a night like this there is no darkness only the Light of the Guru staring into the Eyes Of Mother Kali.
At Kali Darshan you become the Mother Herself.
This is the miracle of community an interfaith community.
Each person worships their Mother in their own way once again huddled together beneath Kashi’s Sky.
