Afternoon Pujas and Prayers

Feb. 13. 2010

Namaste my chelas all over the world.

It is said that he who utters Lord Shiva’s Name during Shiva Ratri is freed from all sins and karma.

This is how powerful This night is.

For this is the Night Of Lord Shiva'

Lord Shiva was married to the Goddess Parvati on this day.

The Shiva Lingam is worshiped throughout the night.

It is also said the Mother Laxmi resides in the throat when one recites Om Namah Shivaya.

It is the Guru Herself that prays to Lord Shiva to reap His boons and love on Her chelas this night. The Guru observes vigil through out the night and conquers all darkness or negativity that comes near Her chelas.

She asks that Her chelas is bathed in the wisdom of Shiva.

Shiva Ratri is my favorite of all festivals.

I seek the bliss and the blessings of Lord Shiva for all my chelas.

Many dance in honor of Lord Shiva.

About thirty years ago, your Ma danced all night for Her chelas on this night.

This went on for many years and only when so many came from all over the world, did I stop.

Yet the Dance is always in my heart and the heart of my chelas

All of Kashi becomes the abode of Shiva and represents Mount Kailash where both Shiva Shakti live for hundreds and hundreds of years.

Kashi becomes the Home of many Gods and Goddesses.

Yet it is Shiva that is king here.

How fortunate are we who live at the Feet Of the Gods and Goddesses.

Shiva you are my lord who dwells in my heart.

You are my Baba and my Beloved,

You renew all and take my chelas karma.

I offer you every thing and give you all.

You bring humanity a treasure of golden poems.

You walk with ash dropping from your sacred body every where.

I wait for this night to pass down to my chelas my love of their Lord.

Love Ma

Jai Kali Ma Ki Jai

Always at the Feet Of Our Neem Karoli Baba Ki Jai

SHRI BHAGAVATI

The consort of Lord Shiva is said to hold the Universe close to Her Breast.

She is always with Him and is Queen of the Dance
