Namaste my chelas all over the world.
I always try to teach you to reach for the stars and see your dreams come true.
Now a dream of your Ma has finally come true in New York.
SAME SEX MARRIAGE IS LEGAL.
All those years of fighting for what is rightfully every human beings right has come true in New York.
All those years of your Ma doing marriages and blessings quietly ( well not so quiet ) in Hospital Rooms, all of us wanting to shout from the roof tops, HEY WORLD I AM IN LOVE AND I AM NOW MARRIED are now over in New York.
I can marry my children with great celebration and acknowledgment.
I have always told you to walk proud and walk tall but walk toward your dreams and they will walk to you.
And now I ask you boast up the prayers and actions for the rest of the Country.
I have asked my straights and my gays to write letters asking, no begging for all peoples of the world to be able to love and marry whom they want.
So many benefits that we take for granted are denied those who are gay.
Yes I am grateful very grateful yet it is not enough, not enough until every state and then every Country.
Yes I am thinking big and I bet you I will live to see all of the United States Of America be able to marry and love whom one wants to.
I look over on my Ganga Porch and can only give thanks that this Sacred Ashram has invited all to Her Sacred Shores no matter what.
As my children were growing up and there were many of them, they use to ask their Ma to explain bigotry to them
It was hard to break those little hearts for indeed they were broken.
I could only hold them and say HEY YOU KNOW WE ARE ALL THE SAME, EVERY ONE OF US, WE ARE ALL EQUALS.
And now they are teaching their own kids and others as well.
Thank you Baba for all you have given.
Thank you Swami Nityananda for teaching us all that LOVE HAS NO GENDER NOR DOES THE SOUL.
