Om Ganesha
Morning Pujas and Prayers
July 29, 2011
Namaste my chelas all over the world.
Through out India you will find statues of the Gods and Goddess gesturing with all four hands different mudras.
I have had the great honor to be taught mudras from our Baba and our Swami.
It took me 39 years to perfect mudras that change the atmosphere in the Dattatreya Temple or any where I teach.
They are done quietly and effectively as I sit upon my tucket ( couch ) hiding my hands yet they are constantly moving.
Even a simple pranam can change your moment.
Try it now.
Just bring your hands into pranam and watch your breath, noticing how much calmer with each breath you take in and out.
And this can happen how many times you want during the day.
Just bring your hands together and take refuge in your breath.
All of Kashi is a Divine Mudra to Lord Shiva.
Even the way the branches on the trees cross each other are like mudras.
I was taught to find mudras in nature.
Our Ashram pulsates with joy as soon as you take one step upon Her sacred Grounds.
As the breeze of Lord Vayu touches her leaves gently, the wandering wanderer comes Home.
When chela meets Guru there is a tender meeting of hearts.
It is the tender heart that brings the most joy to Guru and chela.
It is what you can see and do not pay attention to that slips away in the moment.
Whirling through the cycles of birth and death one learns awareness.
I wait for my chelas to discover with in their beings the fullness of Eternity and this too is a mudra.
Look up at the stars that light up our sky They too are mudras though it takes light years to reach our eyes, they are still there.
The divine poet becomes alive with the noticing of The Mother’s Mudras.
The whole of Kashi becomes a celestial poem once you become aware of Her Beauty.
She bathes our spiritual and human heart with bliss.
So become silent my chelas for a little while and the whole of the Universe shall be your mudra.
I love you my chelas
