Morning Pujas and Prayers

August 7, 2011

Namaste my chelas all over the world.

It is through the community of Kashi that we truly live out our sense of belonging.

When one lives on our Kashi with the Guru Mother, there is always a way to tap into your purest of hearts.

When the Buddha spent years of searching he finally sat under the Bodhi tree and went through all of the 10 thousand sorrows and 10 thousand joys.

First he had to go through the 10 thousand sorrows and then became so grateful that if He didn’t have to go through the ten thousand joys, He the Buddha would have been joyful, to know He has beat the temptations of Mara, the Mother of all illusions who offered him every thing.

When the birds and the sun announced the morning, the Buddha became liberated, yet still Mara was with Him.

He quietly touched the Earth and She, Mara disappeared.

One hand cupped a little beneath His Heart and one hand touching Mother Earth brought to Him the protection and love of all of The EARTH and He knew that no one, no animal or plant or insect should be hurt for it would hurt the Mother Earth.

The Mother taught Him of the struggle of being a seed,

The darkness at first then the joy of lifting toward the Light and the blooming of being in the Light.

Then the energy of bearing fruit and the shedding of the seeds before the fruit decayed in death and then the beauty of rebirth.

The Buddhist speak of taking refuge in the Sanga, The Community.

It really takes strength and courage to allow others to truly see you and you see others in Community.

Then grows the strength and courage to take care of humanity through your Community.

I love our Buddhist Garden and the way it is taken care of warms my heart.

Learning to hold another and learning to be held by another is not easy, yet it becomes challenging and a joy to be hold.

We allow ourselves to be held by the out doors and our animals and our animals teach us to trust.

I can’t thank you all for looking after my babies, my Janaka and my Prana.

My Minakshi and my Shakti Durgaya, how do I thank you two for making room and a home for my dogs.

They keep me alive with the simple joy of life.

They want nothing but love and they give even more love.

All of us, let us practice THE WAY OF APPRECIATION OF EVERY THING IN OUR LIVES.

To say thank you as much as you can.

I love you my chelas and miss you and the Ashram more than I can write.

Love Ma
